DB Schenker, a leading supply chain management and logistics solutions provider uses Kapacity.io’s demand response service for optimizing their heat pump system against day-ahead electricity market prices at Lieto in Finland. DB Schenker is now expanding collaboration to other terminal and storage facilities in Finland.
Keva, Finland’s largest pension provider, was looking for a solution to automatically and dynamically adjust electricity consumption at peak hours. Kapacity.io helped Keva to save electricity by shifting heat pumps’ energy consumption from high demand hours to lower demand hours in residential buildings across Finland. Indoor conditions in the buildings remained stable during controls.
